Nick Mondero, O.D.

Dr. Nick Mondero is originally from Ness City, KS. Dr. Mondero completed his undergraduate work at Southwestern College in Winfield, KS, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then attended Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK. His clinical training was performed in various Cherokee Nation hospitals and clinics throughout Northeast Oklahoma. Dr. Mondero also completed an externship in ocular disease at EyeCare Associates of South Tulsa, and has special interest in specialty contact lenses and ocular disease. Dr. Mondero received his Doctorate of Optometry from NSUOCO in May of 2013. While in school, he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and also received the GP Lens Institute's Clinical Excellence Award. Dr. Mondero is a member of the American Optometric Association, Kansas Optometric Association, Manhattan Referral Network, and the Manhattan Konza Rotary Club. Dr. Mondero and his wife Katrina welcomed a baby boy, Skip, to their family this spring. In his spare time, he enjoys sports and being outdoors. He and his family live in Manhattan, KS.
